Google Pixel and Pixel XL beta testers can get the final Android 7.1.2 Nougat update

Google Pixel and Pixel XL owners who are enrolled in the Android Beta Program can now download the final Android 7.1.2 Nougat update that was released for non-beta testers a number of days ago. That same small update was released last week for Nexus 6P beta testers.

According to 9to5Google, the build numbers for the updates are NHG47K for Verizon Wireless, N2G47J for Deutsche Telekom and N2G47E for all of the other unlocked Pixel phones. Verizon’s Pixel and Pixel XL are getting their own Android 7.1.2 update (Update: factory images arrive)

Update (4/10): If you have yet to receive the April 2017 security patch on your Verizon Pixel or Pixel XL, good news! Google has posted factory and OTA images for the new update on its developer sites.

Some Pixel C and Nexus Player owners are getting the official Android 7.1.2 update

If you own a Google Pixel C tablet, you may be lucky enough to be able to download and install the new, non-beta version of Android 7.1.2 Nougat. A number of owners have reported being able to snag the over-the-air update this weekend.

Android 7.1.2 beta available for Nexus 6P with no fingerprint gestures support

Late on Friday, owners of Google’s Nexus 6P who are signed up to get Android beta releases were finally able to download Android 7.1.2 Nougat via an over-the-air update. The beta of the next Nougat update was first released for other Google-supported devices a month ago.

While the OTA update is rolling out (it’s a 1.29 GB file), the factory image download for the Nexus 6P is not yet available on Google’s site. Hopefully, that download will be added very soon. The build number for the download is NPG05F.
