Some Google Voice users reportedly unable to receive text messages

According to a thread in Google’s Help forum, some Google Voice users are having trouble receiving text messages. Both mobile and desktop seem to be affected, and Google says it’s “currently investigating.”

You can delete conversations in Google Voice with latest update

In late January, Google released a major new update to its Google Voice app for Android, iOS and the web. The update was mainly to introduce a new user interface. Today, the app is getting yet another big update that actually adds a few new features, including a way to finally delete entire conversations.

A new version of Google Voice might launch soon

It’s been a long time since there’s been a major revamp of Google Voice, but that might change sometime soon. Many Google Voice users are currently able to see a banner at the top of their web account asking them to try “the new Google Voice”.

At the moment, clicking on that tempting “TRY NOW” link only results in a refresh of the current page.  In a statement sent to The Verge, the company admitted it is working on some kind of update:
