The US version of the HTC U11 packs 64 GB of storage, which, when combined with the microSD card slot, does not leave most owners wanting for more. We did note that other markets got a version of HTC’s 2017 flagship with double the storage, a version that will make its way to the US after all.

However, HTC has put itself in a bit of a strange situation this year, whereby the launch of this latest flagship is stepping right on the toes of one of its own high-end launches – the HTC U Ultra.
The U Ultra launched back in January but has been rather slow at arriving in regions around the world. The HTC U Ultra, which was first announced in January, is now available officially for immediate shipment in the US, via the company’s website, for $749. HTC is offering people with older smartphones a way to trade them in return for credit to lower the price of the unlocked U Ultra. The amount of that credit will vary widely, but it can go as high as $250 if you trade in a HTC 10 or a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
